Singular Vineyard
Finca La Emperatriz is a historic vineyard in Baños de Rioja that belonged to the last Empress of France, Eugenia de Montijo. The wife of Napoleon III - architect of the classification of Bordeaux in Crus -, made wines on this estate in the 19th century, the quality of which was already recognized in the wine competition of the Universal Exposition of 1878.
A historical vineyard, at almost 600 meters of altitude in one of the coldest areas of Rioja. Very poor pebble floors. The ideal vineyard to make great, fine, elegant, long and tasty aging wines. Pure personality.
