A century-old vineyard

A vineyard with one-hundred-year-old vines, unique and surprising, located at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level in a place of authentic beauty between mountains. Its vines grow freely among fruit trees and native flora, and the different varieties of grapes grown there are also randomly interspersed, as was common in the past in the vineyards of this region of Rioja. A wild vineyard with personality which results in an iconic wine that reflects its full potential.

Historic vineyard located in one of the coldest areas of Rioja, at an altitude of almost 600 metres. Very poor pebbly soils. It is the ideal vineyard for the production of great wines for ageing, fine, elegant, long and aromatic. Pure personality.

This is the most personal project of the Hernáiz brothers, coming from vineyards that have belonged to the family for generations in Cenicero, the home town of Eduardo and Víctor Hernáiz.

The clay-limestone soils and Mediterranean climate produce a voluminous wine with great juiciness.

Zone wine

Rioja Alta wines made with grapes from vineyards located in the towns of Fuenmayor, Navarrete and Hornos de Moncalvillo.

These are estates with Tempranillo bush vines, most of which are around 30 years old. Freshness and fruit in wines that are easy to drink, but by no means simple.
