GUIDED VINEYARD TOUR
On our guided tour we will discover the history of this unique estate. Walking to the oldest vineyard plots, we will learn in detail why this is an exceptional place to grow grapes and appreciate the importance of the vineyard in producing great wines: elegant and with ageing potential.
We continue with a tasting of four wines, discovering the winemaking process as you enjoy them, accompanied by a selection of typical local craft products.
The perfect way to enjoy great wines in the open air of a historic Rioja estate.
GUIDED TOUR AND TASTING
The perfect experience to enjoy great wines in the open air at a historic Rioja estate that belonged to one of the most influential and exciting personalities of the 19th century: Eugénie de Montijo, the last Empress of France.
- Visiting days: Monday to Saturday.
- Approximate duration: 90 minutes.
- Tasting of 4 wines (Jardín de la Emperatriz Blanco, Jardín de la Emperatriz Tinto, Finca la Emperatriz Blanco and Finca La Emperatriz Tinto).
27€/adult | 6€/child aged 3-17.
Includes guided tour of the vineyard and tasting of 4 wines.
The tour includes the vineyard, outdoor areas and old buildings of the estate. Please note that the wine-making areas of the cellar are not visited.

TOUR AND TYPICAL RIOJA MEAL
Let yourself be seduced by a walk through our vineyards and the tasting of a typical Rioja Menu.
Would you like to discover the incredible history of this unique estate on our guided tour? We invite you to stroll through the vineyards while our expert guides immerse you in the world of viticulture and the passion behind every glass of wine.
After the guided tour, you can enjoy a tasting that includes 4 of our most iconic wines, with explanations from our wine tourism team.
And to round off, we move to the spectacular dining room (or winter garden), in the old wooden stables of the estate now restored, and taste a full, homemade and typical Rioja meal, which includes local and premium quality products.
The Finca La Emperatriz Rioja Menu consists of:
- • Starters: Rioja sausage board, black pudding with peppers, leeks in vinaigrette.
- • First course: Potatoes with chorizo.
- • Second course: Stewed pork cheeks.
- • Dessert: Pears in wine or baked cheesecake in the style of the farm (depending on the season).
*Includes water, bread, coffee and Jardín de La Emperatriz white and red wines.

Do you want to enjoy a premium experience tailor-made for you and your companions? Guardacumbres is our new premium wine, rooted in the personality of a unique vineyard. Vines up to 100 years old coexist with the native flora in a wild and truly beautiful setting in the mountains. A vineyard and a wine of these characteristics deserve a unique visit to match.
We invite you to get to know this project exclusively, through a guided tour with our experts, a private picnic organised on site among the beautiful and wild vineyards, and a tasting of our exclusive Guardacumbres Red and Guardacumbres White, which have already won the hearts of Masters of Wine such as Tim Atkin or Robert Parker.
PRIVATE VISIT TO THE VINEYARD (Including TRANSFER, PICNIC AND TASTING)

• Transfer to the vineyard from the winery (approx. 5 km. Private vehicle not possible).
• Guided tour of the vineyard and explanation of the project and the wine.
