On March 27th, Finca La Emperatriz opens its doors to the public again so that visitors and tourists can enjoy the new range of wine tourism activities offered by the winery.
And to inaugurate the 2021 season, a very special event has been organized on Saturday April 3rd coinciding with Easter Week, seeking to bring wine tourism closer to the public of the region: an aperitive to taste the wines of Finca La Emperatriz accompanied with gastronomy and live music. The perfect plan to have fun this Easter in La Rioja.
On that day, the property will be closed exclusively for the public to enjoy – with all security measures and on private tables with a maximum capacity of 4-6 people – with the best classic and modern rock covers by “Los Otros”, uninterruptedly until 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

Activities amidst nature
In addition, for this season, to the already known activities of the winery such as the guided vineyard tour and the explained tastings of the estate’s wines, this year a novelty is added: the new tapas and platters menu. To do this, Finca La Emperatriz has opted for local and seasonal produce, so that visitors, without prior reservation, can enjoy wine tourism in an informal and relaxed way, chilling among vineyards with a glass of wine and a gastronomic offer for pairing.
Because, if there is something that characterizes wine tourism at Finca La Emperatriz, it is the outdoor activities, taking advantage of the sea of vineyards that the property has and the open spaces such as the Jardín de La Emperatriz, where the terrace of the Wine Bar and shop is located.

In addition, for those who wish to extend their visit and be captivated by this vineyard, the experience can be completed with a stay at The Villas. Inaugurated in October last year, located at the foot of the vineyard and with views of the Cantabria and Demanda mountains, the villas offer a perfect place for rest and disconnection.
